Military vehicles, mounted riders, marchers, and more were out in force on Saturday for the annual Bastille Day military parade in Paris, France, on July 14, 2012. Bastille Day celebrates the storming of the Bastille fortress in 1789 when a mob of citizens and French guards took control of the bastion and beheaded its keepers in a strike against the despotism and tyranny of King Louis XVI.
