Sony?s set to unveil ?The Future of Playstation? in New York City one week from today on February 20th.? We?ve gotten one new tidbit about the event, namely where it will be held.? According to PlaystationLifeStyle, the event will be held in the Hammerstein Ballroom.? Among other things, the Hammerstein Ballroom is is notable for being the home of some of the most memorable events in the history of ECW, Extreme Championship Wrestling.
I can only assume that Sony is planning to debut the Playstation 4 with a wrestling extravaganza.? Perhaps Tommy Dreamer and Raven will battle in a PS4 on a pole match.? Maybe Sandman will come through the crowd with a Singapore Cane in one hand and a Dualshock 4 in another.? Maybe Kaz Hirai will challenge Satoru Iwata and Major Nelson to a triple threat, steel cage, loser leaves gaming match.? Tretton! GET THE TABLES!!!
The Hammerstein Ballroom fits over 2000 people, so Sony is planning something big.? My money is on a wrestling event/PS4 reveal.? What do you think?
